WHAT DOES QUALITY MEAN TO YOU?
Specialty-Grade Coffee
Coffee that scores 80> on the SCA scale (out of 100). These are beans grown in optimal conditions and are the creme of the crop.
Light Roast vs. Dark Roast
Dark roasts are slightly less acidic than lighter roasts because they’re roasted at a higher temperature for a longer period. They are also described as deeper tasting and might have less noticeable "tasting notes" than lighter roasts.
